About

Philosophy of care

My passion lies in empowering women to take charge of their health at every stage of life. Health care should be a partnership of trust, respect and communication. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, valued and involved in care decisions. I want you to share any concerns, knowing your voice matters. If I don’t have an immediate answer, I’m transparent about it and make it my responsibility to find the right information and resources. Each encounter is an opportunity to educate, advocate and support you in making choices aligned with your values and lifestyle. Family medicine allows me to provide care from adolescence to pregnancy, motherhood and beyond. It is a privilege to celebrate my patients’ milestones and support them through challenges, forming relationships that go beyond the exam room. Ultimately, my philosophy is grounded in compassion, integrity and partnership. By working together, we can achieve the best outcomes, lifelong health and well-being.

Why I entered medicine

I chose a medical career to make a difference in people’s lives and give back to my community. As a family nurse practitioner, I’m passionate about advocating for women’s health and ensuring every patient feels heard, respected and supported. I value the relationships I build with patients and their families and the opportunity to care for them through all stages of life. Continuous learning keeps me inspired.

Community involvement

I have spent the last two years working with underserved and underinsured populations via community-based health care. I have helped at the LVHN flu clinic. I am also a preceptor for nurse practitioner students through local colleges.

Personal interests

I’m a proud wife and mother of three who cherishes family time together – whether vacationing in Maine, relaxing at the beach or exploring new places. My husband and I love trying new restaurants (we’re big foodies!) and hope to travel the world someday. I enjoy reading good fiction with plenty of plot twists, listening to true crime podcasts like Crime Junkie and watching movies. Strength training is my favorite way to start the day – it helps me feel centered and strong. I also love to dance, bake cookies, listen to music and make time for the simple things that bring joy and balance to life.
