About

Philosophy of care

My approach in helping you goes beyond treating any medical issues to also guiding you to a healthy lifestyle through screening and discussion. I value the importance of preventive medicine, with twin goals of promoting well-being and avoiding disease/disability. I also believe it is critically important to advocate for you and help you navigate the medical system.

Why I entered medicine

My father is a family physician. Growing up watching him help guide families of multiple generations through the health care system is why I chose this career path – particularly family medicine. I really appreciate the chance to sit down and spend time with my patients, listening to what is important to them and making a difference in their lives. I very much enjoy the continuity of follow up.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending free time with my wife, reading, bicycling, golfing and attending sporting events.
