About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is simple: every patient deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Good care starts with understanding each person’s concerns, needs, and goals. It is an honor to be trusted with your healthcare, a responsibility I take seriously. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and provide thoughtful, personalized care through every stage of life.

Why I entered medicine

As nurses, my parents showed me what it means to care for others with compassion, patience, and respect. I witnessed their dedication to serving their community. They also taught me the importance of listening, speaking up for others, and being an advocate for those in need. Their example shaped the physician I am today and continues to influence how I care for my patients.

Community involvement

I am proud to be part of, and care for, the Lehigh Valley community. I am especially committed to supporting individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. Everyone deserves to have access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare, and I support organizations that share these values.

Personal interests

As a first-generation American with family roots in Trinidad and Tobago, I value staying connected to my heritage and treasure every opportunity to visit family. I also enjoy gardening with my husband and spending time with our two much-adored cats – who naturally believe they are in charge of the household.
