About

Philosophy of care

I care for patients of all life stages and value the benefits of being able to take care of the entire family from newborns to grandparents. I believe in meeting each patient where they are on their healing journey and serving as a teacher and advocate in their life.

My goal is to help everyone achieve optimal health and functioning with an emphasis on preventative care. I also have a professional interest in integrative medicine and the use of complementary and alternative modalities within health care.

Why I entered medicine

I have a passion for health and wellness, and my interest in medicine was sparked when I completed my training as a yoga instructor. I began exploring what it means to be truly healthy, prevent disease and all of the ways in which we can attain health in our daily lives. My personal mission became to combine the physical sciences with complementary and alternative approaches to health care.

Community involvement

I was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pa., and have a passion for the health and wellness of our community. I currently sit on the Bethlehem Board of Health for the Bethlehem Health Bureau, and I am actively involved in community work within the city.

Personal interests

I believe in being a role model for living a healthy lifestyle and try to practice what I preach every day with regard to preventative care. In my free time I enjoy many forms of physical activity, such as running, hiking and long walks. I’m also passionate about incorporating mind and body activities into my daily health routine and regularly practice meditation and yoga. Good nutrition is an essential part of my life, and I enjoy cooking or baking a healthy new dish on weekends. I also love relaxing with a good book and spending time with my family and friends at local restaurants and community events.
